New and Old

So all the new shows have dropped by now but I want to focus on the shows from last year that I still love and have just warmed the cockles of my little heart. I have my favorites and in a gesture of goodwill I will share them with you now.

Private Practice: It didn’t return after the strike last year but it came back this year with something to prove. Whether it’s Addison and her obsession with a guy who clearly doesn’t like her, or if Violet and Sam are going end up together, the show keeps me hooked week after week.

Ugly Betty: This season started, in my opinion, incredibly boringly. But it has redeemed itself ten times over in the last 3 episdoes and I remember why I love it oh so much. Wilhelmina and Mark go up against the mismatched duo of Betty and Daniel to fight it out for so many things, the most of all, Mode.

How I Met Your Mother: I love this show. I love this show. I love this show. It’s so funny and amusing, and I know that those are the same word but I don’t care. If you haven’t seen it you must watch it and if you have, keep watching. It’s really funny.

There are always the classics like Grey’s Anatomy and The Office that everyone already knows are good. And then there are the new shows that are worth giving a shot. But there are the ones that are holding on with steady audiences that are the reason I tune in each week. And that’s good enough for me.
